I had a fairly rough week this week. Still having to deal with the frustration of my Instagram account being hacked and no support from the Instagram support staff.....it's been a week and I still have yet to hear from them after sending several emails and phone calls. Tough clients, tough cases, tough coworkers, on top of a already tough schedule. I make the mistake of assuming everyone is out here trying to be the best version of themselves. I don't understand how it's hard to just be kind to people. No matter how educated, talented, rich, famous, or cool you think you are, the way you treat others says everything about your integrity. There is no need to make others miserable in this short life of ours. There is nothing of substance to gain other than a fleeting moment of power that's gone as soon as it comes. There's enough unhappiness in the world without you adding to it. Kindness is literally one of the easiest things to achieve. If you're reading this thinking I'm talking about you, then you must be guilty of something.
It was to the point that I dreaded going into work and had storm clouds above my head waiting to strike. That's not me, I don't like being that person. But I'm well aware that tough times don't last, tough people do. That being said, not to wish my life away but I can't wait for the week, maybe this month, to be over.
Peace should be a priority in your life, and when it is negativity cannot exist. I will never worry about people who talk behind my back, they are behind me for a reason. I've had plenty of people try to break my spirit, but unfortunately for them, they don't have that kind of power. People get jealous of confidence and strength so they try to destroy it. What they don't know is that I'm a warrior, a bonfire, a phoenix, and I will rise stronger and more powerful every. single. time. I dare you to try and put me out. Some women are lost in the fire, some rise from it.
