February Song Month

Wow February already! So many people have been telling me how much of an inspiration I am for them and how proud they are of me.  It's comments like that which keep me going; this place can really make you question yourself, so thank you for your kind words and believing in me when I don't always believe in myself.

Since music is such a huge part of my life and part of what keeps me going, how about this month I post song lyrics each day.  They will by lyrics that some how represented my day or just a song I heard and really enjoy the lyrics to that day.  I will also provide the link for the video so you can hear the song!

Monday:  Study, study, study!  Sadly, only a handful of people showed up to my belly dance class today.  I think it was because there are so many exams this week.  I just thought of it as a study break though.
I only chose this song because the girls in my dance class wanted to practice the choreograph several times so they could remember it.  So this is the song that they are learning a dance to:
" Mere Zindagi Tere Ho gayhe (My life has become your property)/ Bring it Back [Timbaland]/ Ye Diwandigi na roke kubi (May this love never end)/ Bring it Back [Timbaland]" Timbaland - Bombay

Tuesday - ANS exam, which I did not feel good about at all.  However, it's time to move on and study for SAM on Friday.  I skipped the optional DI lab in order to get started on studying.
These lyrics because I can't worry about my ANS test, I need to keep studying and move onto SAM: "If you're goin' through hell keep on going/ Don't slow down if you're scared don't show it/ You might get out before the devil even knows you're there/ When you're goin' through hell keep on movin'/Face that fire walk right through it"  Rodney Adtins - If You're Going Through Hell

Wednesday: Exam review for the ANS exam
This song was in my head most of the day:  "So let your heart, sweet heart/ Be your compass when you're lost" Lady Antebellum - Compass

Thursday: No SAM today, she gave us the day off to study.  DI ultrasound lab where I actually got to perform my first ultrasound!
This is the song I would have danced to at hip-hop class if I went and didn't have to study, and it fits because of my exam tomorrow: "Hold your head high/ Fingers to the sky/ They gon' try to try ya/ But they can't deny ya"  Britney Spears - Work Bitch

Friday: SAM Exam and taking the night off at volleyball
Well because it's finally the weekend and I need a break: "Cheers to the freakin' weekend" Rihanna - Cheers (Drink To That)

Weekend: Brunch for Alex's birthday and getting organized for the next set of exams.
